I told my friend Lindsey over the weekend that the 6 1/2 month point to now (and hopefully forever!) is the absolutely, hands-down best time being a parent. The baby is literally like a sponge and soaks up something new every day.
While on travel about a month ago, I came home and Allie learned how to clap at school and dance (rock back and forth). Her favorite show is Fresh Beat Band on Nick Jr...when it comes on, she stops everything to dance, talk, stare - whatever she feels like at the time. I caught her on video tonight.
