Saturday night Allie did not want to go to bed. We put two and two together and figured out she had to be getting sick because she would scream every time we tried to lay her down. She would fall straight to sleep in our arms, but scream bloody murder once putting her in her bed...poor kid. At 9, I finally decided to go to bed and lay her in our bed with me and Ben slept in the addition. Allie was roaring and ready to go at 5 am so Ben took over so I could get a couple hours of uninterrupted sleep.
Ben did the yard, we went for a walk, then played in the backyard for a bit. Allie LOVES Roxy and Roxy loves her some Allie Parker!
Ben ordered some Omaha Steaks a couple weeks ago so we grilled out and had mac and cheese (yes, it's amazing how you downgrade side items so the munchkin can eat!) and broccoli. Looks like someone thoroughly enjoyed the mac and cheese but look how sad those sweet eyes look...continue to next blog post.
