Last week my friend Anne asked when I was going to blog again. I didn't realize it's been almost 2 months since I've updated this! A LOT has happened in 8 weeks.
My last day at Pro Tech/3M was May 20. It was sad, but great things were ahead. That weekend we attended a wedding in New Orleans and had a great mini-get-away before I started home study on Monday the 23rd. Home study, oh home study...how glad I am to be finished with you!
Home study was two weeks long and encompassed paper and digital modules. I covered the respiratory and central nervous systems, all 3 of my products, medical terminology, specialists versus primary care doctors, managed care...the list could go on. Each module has a test and in the two weeks, I took 17 of them. I literally had no life for two weeks and joked with Ben that I lived in a house and had a family I didn't get to be a part of!
After home study, I left for Commack, NY for three weeks on June 5th - yes, I missed Allie's first birthday. In Commack we covered the same topics as home study but highlighted specifics. I came home on June 23rd - it was the best day ever!
Training was grueling but now I am figuring out my territory which is quite challenging. My new job is awesome but just like all new things, they come with a challenge. I will try and update the blog more now that I am home at night.
