I've hit the wall...but then it's bathtime...and I get my 32nd wind!

AP slept for 45 minutes today at school.  Yes, 45 minutes...definitely not something to be thrilled about.  Needless to say, she hit - the - wall.  We did her bath 30 minutes early but to make up for the extra time I let her play extra because she was SO HAPPY!

Baby school Christmas party

I know I've mentioned 8,000 times just how much I love Allie's "baby school"...but I really do!

Today we celebrated with the babies and gave Mrs. Crystal and Ms. Annie Visa gift cards so they can enjoy the holidays...these two women mean more to me than words can explain.

Since losing mom, having Allie, being on maternity leave, going back to work....blah...I've experienced many emotions.  Knowing my child is in the best hands she could be in is simply priceless.  I honestly look at these two women as part of our family.

Allie was the only panda not dressed in her Christmas gear - something about the 80 degree weather made me decide against it - but I was able to take some pictures of a couple of the babies.  Love, love, love these kiddos!

Sweet Audrey in Mrs. Crystal's lap.  Little Audrey is the youngest in Allie's class...what an absolute cutie...check out this Santa outfit!

Mr. Cade...he's a dude.  Check out those two bottom teeth...such a little man!

AP and Ben who truly deserves "daddy of the year."  This man is present at everything his little girl does (even if it's for 5 minutes) and always has the biggest smile on his face.  How could you not when you have this sweet baby to look at?

Big girl high chair

Last night we had a healthy dinner (not really) at Red Zeppelin pizza by our house.  There weren't many people inside and Allie started getting restless in her carrier so I suggested we test her out in the big girl high chair.  Keep in mind, we do have a high chair/shopping cart cover but I completely forgot to bring it.  BUT all in all, Allie Parker did quite well.  She sat at the table, ate her Mum Mum and watched TV while we ate.

6-month stats

WEIGHT:   17 lbs. 3 oz.
LENGTH:   26 3/4 inches
HEAD:       17 1/2 inches

Allie is in the 75th percentile for weight, 75-90th for length and 90th for head.  She's a healthy little thing!

Asleep after 3 injections and 1 oral vaccine

14 hours of sleep?

Ok, is it normal for a 6-month-old to sleep 14 hours, from 7 pm to 9 am?  Should I be thrilled or concerned?

I don't think she could be any cuter

Two weeks ago, Layne Photography took Christmas pictures at Allie's baby school.  While I was hesitant, I decided to give them a try...and thank goodness I did because look how absolutely precious they turned out.  I don't have a digital copy of them so I had to take a picture with my iPhone which is why the quality is a little crummy.

Chillin' with dad

We went to the McAnelly's Saturday evening for a Christmas get-together with them, the Roussel's and the Gary's.  Rather than buy for our friends this year we decided to have each kid draw a name.  We got sweet Grace Roussel and dolled her up with a white panda onesie and blue corduroy overalls with a panda in the pocket from Gymboree.  I am sure the last thing Gracie needs is clothes but girls are just way too much fun to buy for.

I took a picture of AP hanging with her dad...too sweet.
